Question / Help 1680x1050 monitor to 1280x720 reolution problem

I want to start stream. As is heards if i put very big bitrate 6000 with 1980x1020 resolution ,some peoples will have lags on stream and new streamers have no scalability options to 1080 720 480 360 240 140.

SO i decided to create stream 1280x720 and 3500 bitrate

i put main resolution 1280x720
and exited scalled resouton 1280x720
but i cant stretch second game resolution to first main resolution, its just doesnt scale.

i play game in 1680x1050

WHat can i do with that and what optimal bitarate for all vieweres if i am new streamer without twitch scale function?

Then don't game at that resolution... play in window mode instead and get used to it :P
As in when on windowed mode use a 16:9 aspect ratio resolution so that it works properly on OBS. Although I think you can still play in fullscreen... we can play pc games to any aspect resolution if the game supports it(its just your monitor to accept it, as in it has to be anything lower than your max supported height resolution - as in under 1050) and it will get transferred correctly in OBS assuming the selected game resolution is 16:9 aspect ratio(1980x1080/1600x900/1280x720... etc).

HOWEVER you can still use your current gaming resolution, just reduce the size in OBS of that game capture source then put the game on either left or right, center etc... and what ever space is unused use that for chat, webcam and any other stuff you might want. Basically you would have an Overlay setup - you just have to be creative.

Example alignment for your 1680x1050 resolution reduced to a 720p stream with side stuff ideas.

Basically you load this image in OBS as the bottom source, then start reducing the size of the game to fit inside the box... then start adding the other stuff and do the same to make them fit in the boxes. Then at the end remove that image from OBS, go on Photoshop and get creative having that image as a layout plan so you can make your custom art overlay *over that layout idea.

Hopefully you understand what can be possible for you
