Question / Help 16:9 video source showing 4:3 in OBS

Hey, so I'm setting up with OBS for the first time and I've got a video feed coming from a Canon XH-A1 sending full 1920x1080 signal via firewire to my iMac. But for some reason, no matter what settings I seem to try in OBS, the image is showing up as a squished 4:3. It also looks that way on the fb stream from OBS. Appreciate any help you can give!

There's a way to stretch the output by dragging the red box to make it 16:9. Not sure that's the correct way to do it as I'm new to OBS, but it seems to work.

I am using XHA1 as input via FireWire as well... Are you able to get audio through the same cable from the camera? I only get video...

Is that what you did for yours? What exactly did you do? Or can you share your camera settings and obs settings?

Thanks to your thread, I think I found a solution (for Mac) when you control click (or right click on Windows) on your red frame box, you get a drop down menu. Select "transform" there you can change your ratio to your selected dimentions.

Yep, that definitly worked. But I'm having trouble optimizing my video quality. It's coming out pretty grainy. Any tips you can offer?

Foi isso que você fez pelo seu? O que exatamente você fez? Ou você pode compartilhar as configurações da câmera e configurações obs?
