Question / Help 144hz gameplay produces choppy/jittery streams and videos

Hello!

I have been trying to stream Overwatch using OBS Studio. However, the stream becomes choppy and jittery. I have a 144hz monitor, and my game is set to 144fps. I have tried three tests streaming with the stream output at 60fps and the game's fps cap at 144, 120, and 60. The stream was completely fine while the game was set to 60 fps, while choppy and jittery at 120 and 144. I was wondering if anyone knew the solution to this? I know other streamers who stream 60 fps but have 144 fps in-game, and I don't want to play at 60 fps because it feels too laggy and hurts my eyes because of how used to 144hz I am.

*I tried the same tests with recording video and got the same results

Thanks!

The answer is right in front of you.

An i5-6600 for doing BOTH streaming and Overwatch game play above 60fps at 12Mbps/upload is not fast enough.

The thing with this is the same thing happens while recording on OBS, and I can record even higher quality using other recording software with no problems. Also I know people who stream 1080p60fps with worse computers.
