Hello everybody! I need some advice...
Recently I've bought a new monitor 1440p 144hz 27' as the main.
So I decided to test and recorded the video with 1080 scale. And I wasnt so happy with the quality. Well, alright, maybe there were some wrong options. But even when the picture is stable ( I mean without action) and looks super bad comparing with the videos from the previous streams (1200p) [My main monitor was 1200p (16:10)]
However now I feel that if I keep this scale it would be the same bad on the stream. That's why I would like to know before starting.
I believe I made a mistake buying a new monitor before buying a new gpu..
Ah yeah, the PC setup is
i9 9900k (slightly overclocked to 4.7)
3400 32gb ram
Nvidia 970 GPU =/
I think this CPU has an opportunity to stream 1440p, it is not so common for twitch, but why not. But I think I would get troubles with GPU.... Also I heard that downscaling from 1440p to 1080p takes more power and resources than streaming with native 1440p - is it true?
What would you recommend?
I use fast preset (high), 7500 bitrate. Maybe there are some other advanced options which I dont know...
UPD: My main game is WoW.. But sometimes I could have fun on PUBG with my friends, everything will be lagging as hell 100% with 1440p, no?
Actually that's my first appeal for some help...after one year and a half... When I reinstalled windows after changing CPU - I forgot to save the folder with OBS settings, so all the scenes, all the settings missed...
My plan is to buy 2080 next month maybe... but still I have 970 and I need a little help from you. Which settings should I use for ideal picture? And should I try 1440p ? (Maybe the quality of that recorded 1080 video wasnt that bad, maybe it is just difference between 1440p and 1080p when you get used to 1440p, I dont know.
