12th+ Intel Generation QuickSync (H.264) vs40#0 Series NVENC (H.264) @ 6-8,000kbps For Twitch Streaming

Has anyone tested or knows whether which encoder is better for Twitch? I know that the Intel 12th generation CPU's and above have a very good iGPU for encoding, but how good is it compared to NVENC on something like the RTX 4090/4080 Super GPU's when the Intel CPU's iGPU is solely being used for streaming? I know NVENC is the standard, but I rarely people talk about QuickSync H.264 so I wanted to know if anyone has tested it or has knowledge to weigh in.

It's good, none of my friends can tell the difference as I switch it up on them all the time.

Anyway, assuming you have a 4080 or 4090, that have dual NVENC encoders, you'll probably never need to use QSV.

Glad to hear that. VMAF testing shows NVENC is slightly better, but I think you’d have to be hard pressed to tell the difference visually. Thank you for your input!
