Question / Help 120hz jittery output

Currently trying to stream some Rainbow Six Siege during ranked games for friends to watch, but when I try to output at 864p@30 the preview is jittery as well as the stream to twitch. I spent 4hrs+ going through all the settings in obs and nothing makes a difference but upping the fps to 60 from 30. I can push 864p@60 so it's not a huge deal but it is still a tad jittery once in a while. I have since found that if I lock the framerate to 60 ingame it solves my problem @30 and 60fps. Anybody know of another potential fix? I'd rather keep my refresh @ 120hz and have vsync turned off. I am using the NVEC codec, but it is the same if I use x264. I checked the logs but didn't see anything there, other then dropping 2 frames in the 2hrs.
I am not sure if it is due to 120hz or the fact that my in game fps is around 90-150 depending on maps.

i7 5930k @ 3.6ghz
Sli 970's
16bg ram
Game and obs running on ssd

If you leave your game uncapped, there's no leftover GPU resources for OBS to do its job perfectly, since it uses the GPU for scene compositing and scaling, assuming you configured OBS correctly.

VSYNC or frame rate limiters, either ingame or rivatuner, are your only options on a single PC setup.

Without a log file, there's nothing else anyone can suggest.

Update to the latest version of OBS.
VSYNC or limit FPS to 60 or 120FPS, depending on the software captured.
720p@30FPS, 720p@60FPS or 1080p@30FPS is optional but what I'd recommend.
Limit capture sources on each scene collection to just one. You have game, window and display sources at same time, on the same scene, that's bound to cause some issues.

An optional suggestion is to add "threads=7" to x264 options, in your output settings, though it requires testing.

Hmm, seems this happens with all games now. Never used too. Just tried dishonored, getting about 250fps and the view on obs is worse then siege. Siege is tolerable, but noticeable. This is awful. Vsync fixes it in this game, but not siege. Such an annoying thing.
