10-20% GPU 3d usage while idle/pause recording

Hello,

I have somewhat of an odd setup and I hope it is not the issue. So I'm running dual graphics card to power extra monitors (6 total). A 3080 FE and Quadro P1000. My use case for OBS is to record my screen for work. I would sometimes pause a recording on my lunch break to play a bit of Fortnite. The issue is that I noticed Fortnite losing FPS and gets a bit choppy. I discovered that OBS was using about 10-20% of the GPU 3d engine just sitting there idling/recording paused.

If I close OBS completely, the game will be fluid and good again. I know there are a few post on this forum that indicates that the OBS usage at idle is just because my GPU is using low power mode and when it's actually running the actual percentage usage is considerably less. I don't think that's the case here because I would go into Nvidia control panel and enable Max Performance (no power savings) and I still see OBS running at 10-20% GPU usage while I'm gaming.

I'm using Desktop Capture btw.
