Whenever I record myself playing something, the recording fps is terrible. The resolution is fine, but it literally goes at about 1 fps. I don't want to have to stream everything I do, as streaming fps is just fine. I am new to obs, and don't know what to do in settings to fix it. Maybe my computer is slow? It has an intel core i5.
1 fps on recording video but 60 fps on streaming?

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

what do you mean? I am new to this, and my encoders are the same for both. I don't know what quicksync is though.
