simple answer?
there is a issue between you and your target
issues on personal network/on ISP network/some where in the connection
to find out the specific issue is hard

I have exactly the same problem, even after a system wipe and fresh install of my key software I use, still have the same issue. So sadly having to use streamlabs until OBS fixes/updates (Had zero issues so far with SLOBs). I now miss OBS :(

i agree, i can tell u its happened when i've alt tabbed in the game im streaming, or when the game switches to a loading screen. something freaks, puts a load on obs and sometimes that's when i've noticed it hit 0kbs.

can see encoding overload pop up in the lower right of obs all the time during alt tabbing or game loading also even if it doesn't always go 0kbs, guessing when the encoder gets overloaded sometimes it just doesn't come back? and goes 0kbs..

things i've done is lower bit rate from 8k to 5k still issue persist, have been streaming the same game for 2yrs. but who knows games update also..

öm If You Operate at this makes a 0 (other scenario) related to tab/load screens
its a issue of Priority
if you not basic setup OBS correct then it is another topic
Looked at the log only related the the transfer dropp and seen nothing

relate to basic config of OBS

20:51:01.736: Running as administrator: false
So Obs have a lower level then the game so it can result in a takeover of cpu/gpu power and obs goes close 0 for short time
i missed that in my overview of the log first sorry

thx for the help, instead of using toolbar to launch obs, i used the icon and selected run as administrator, no crashes; will update if crashes again.

i understand that this issue is tied to having a bad isp connection. now after playing EFT, the game crashed had to restart; thats when again obs went to 0kb/s. i didn't notice till near end of raid and then quit the game.

upon quitting the game, not force closing it, obs auto reconnected and went back to my 7k kb/s so its not my isp as obs waiting till me closing my game, only difference is now it doesn't happen as much upgraded to 3090ftw.
