The "Infinity mirror" effect you see here is because OBS captures everything that is on your screen - even itself.
If you have two or more display devices then you may place the OBS window on a different screen (not the one you are currently capturing).
If you want to exclude OBS own window from the capture then you may set OBS Settings > General > Hide OBS windows from screen capture option.
