source aspect ratio

Hi, Is there any way to curve any source like a concave spoon in the curved region as seen in https://paste.pics/3160480518625bdab906fefe165c8974? Thanks.

It would be good to have an option to lock proportions of the source so any change in its size, dimensions, crop or editing transformation data keeps locked proportions. It would also be helpful to have some predefined standard proportions and maybe option for use to create custom proportions.
