obs hanging on reconnect

While livestreaming today, OBS disconnected, then got stuck on reconnect attempt 1. I stopped the stream and tried to restart, but nothing happened when I clicked Start Streaming. I closed obs, but when I tried to reopen it, I was given the message that it was already running. I had to shut it...
