lagging with obs open

    When I start streaming, my game starts to lag but it says 60 fps (it is a 60 fps max game).

    I'm trying to stream a game called Tekken 8. It's max framerate for the game is 60 fps due to it being a fighting game. When I try to stream on OBS, it starts stuttering severly even though it still says 60 fps in the corner. And if I look on twitch, the game looks buttery smooth on stream but...

    OBS is taking up most of my computer memory, lagging on startup and while streaming

    mac slows down with obs, the streaming screen lags on twitch reallll bad
