Hello everyone.
I’ve just published on my GitHub an OBS Studio plugin that I created to solve a recurring problem we have here in Caruaru (Brazil) regarding the integration between Holyrics and OBS, using the official Holyrics plugin.
Holyrics is an app to display bible verses and song lyrics on a second monitor, and it generates several urls using the local network IP so OBS can display song lyrics and Bible verses in live streams. This works well, but there’s a common issue:
if the computer running Holyrics does not have a fixed IP address (which is often the case, especially when the computer is used on different networks), the IP changes. When that happens, we have to manually update all OBS browser sources that rely on Holyrics links — which can be quite painful.
To solve this, I developed this plugin.
This makes reconnecting OBS to Holyrics much faster whenever the IP changes.
If this can help anyone else, here’s the release link:
https://github.com/Pelezi/obs-holyrics-plugin-finder/releases/tag/v1.1.0
If you find any issues or have suggestions, feel free to let me know.
This is my first OBS plugin, so feedback is very welcome
God bless, and thank you for the amazing OBS community!
Hello everyone.

To solve this, I developed this plugin.
What this plugin does:
- Scans your local network looking for the Holyrics plugin
- Detects browser sources in OBS that use IP:PORT URLs (the standard pattern used by Holyrics)
- Shows which sources need updating
- Allows you to update all compatible sources at once
This makes reconnecting OBS to Holyrics much faster whenever the IP changes.
If this can help anyone else, here’s the release link:
