This is a python-based countdown timer based on the lua timer that ships with OBS, released under GPLv2.
There are other scripts available that are more functional than this, but it served my needs, is based in Python (not Lua), and gave me a chance to learn the OBS API. Sharing it with the world on a matter of principle. :)
