Question / Help My stream keep's Disconnecting

I am not sure what to do or what the problem may be. I just joined the forum to maybe get some help. I had about 27 total disconnects while streaming yesterday. I have tried streaming today and I have already experience about 4 disconnects. I am totally in the dark and have no idea what is going on. I have viewers that would love to see a stream esp on a Friday. Get back to me ASAP.

Other than this current issue OBS is by far my favorite streaming software to use.

As noted when creating a new thread, if you're having an issue, please post a logfile from a live streaming session. It'll tell us more about your potential underlying issues.
Also, run a 6MB test at http://testmy.net/upload and post the results here. Speedtest.net is worthless for livestreamers.

Have you tried switching ingest servers? Are you trying to stream over wifi (bad idea)?

Disconnects are very unlikely to be an issue with OBS, and more an issue with your network connection to Twitch.

I am not sure to how this kind of thing works. I don't think that it is my network though. I am still in-game on skype, teamspeak, youtube, able to type to chat. My laptop is also is connected when all this happens. I only get dc from the OBS so the stream video/audio is all I lose. I still can go about everthing else.

Oh. I would never stream or ever play video games over wifi. It is the most stupid idea. The internet is working fine for everyone else as stated before. I have some time 10 devices online while streaming for 2 months now with no problems like this ever. It only started on the 14th. of this month. 27 dc's in one day. Not once did I dc from chat or game.

Switch your ingest server. I don't believe the LA backup server exists any more, and the primary has been getting slammed lately. And that last one appears to be the load-balance ingest, which isn't going to give best results.

Load-balance ingest is a funky term means "server that reroutes you to a server with fewest connections"

I have my ISP coming out today. I called them and there was 12 dc on their end. Still doesn't explain the other 15 dc though.
