Hey guys!
Are you guys doing OBS for mac iOS device capture? My guess is that about 5 million people are doing so.
I know the most common way to do that is to use Video Capture Device to get the video output, but I've never been happy with the iOS device video I've gotten with this feature.
It is too bright and yellowish.
I can cover up the color weirdness with hue shift, but I can't do anything about the screen being too bright.
Even if I try to change the gamma value, the border between bright gray and white is not clear.
I'll paste my tweet for image comparison (I tried to paste it directly here, but it said the image size was too large)
What could be causing this to be such a strange color?
And am I the only person in the world working on a solution to this...?
From what I googled, it looks like someone else had the same question in 2022.
The question was kindly answered with a color correction, but this did not work well for me.
I also tried looking for a tone curve plug-in, but couldn't find one.
Does anyone have any ideas for a solution to this issue?
