OBS Log Analyzer

MP4/MOV Recording
Record to FLV or MKV. If you record to MP4 or MOV and the recording is interrupted, the file will be corrupted and unrecoverable.
If you require MP4 files for some other purpose like editing, remux them afterwards by selecting File > Remux Recordings in the main OBS Studio window.

Lenovo Vantage
Lenovo Vantage / Legion Edge is installed and is known to cause connection issues while streaming. Open Lenovo Vantage and set the "Network Boost" feature to disabled when streaming with OBS.

Non-Standard Aspect Ratio
Almost all modern streaming services and video platforms expect video in 16:9 aspect ratio. OBS is currently configured to record in an aspect ratio that differs from that. You (or your viewers) will see black bars during playback. Go to Settings -> Video and change your Canvas Resolution to one that is 16:9.

Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduler
The Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling ("HAGS") feature added with Windows 10 is currently known to cause performance and capture issues with OBS, games and overlay tools. If you are having issues with performance or OBS freezing, we recommend disabling it via this screen or these instructions as a troubleshooting step.
