The Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling ("HAGS") feature added with Windows 10 is currently known to cause performance and capture issues with OBS, games and overlay tools. It's an experimental feature and we recommend disabling it via this screen
or these instructions
You are running an old version of OBS Studio (27.2.3). Please update to version 29.1.3 by going to Help -> Check for updates in OBS or by downloading the latest installer from the downloads page
and running it.
You are running Windows 10 21H2, which has not been supported by Microsoft since June 2023. We recommend updating to the latest Windows release to ensure continued security, functionality, and compatibility.
Browser hardware acceleration is currently disabled. Enabling acceleration is highly recommended due to the improvements to performance and significantly lower CPU usage for browser sources. This can be enabled in Settings -> Advanced.

To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:
1) Restart OBS.
2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Send that link via this troubleshooting tool or whichever support chat you are using.
