Bug Report 0.51 Very unstable for me

So I streamed a few hours, and since 0.50 the software got very unstable for me. I've been using this software for months now and it never did this.

For example : I'm using GameCapture on Dark Souls ; after 45 min or so, I check twitter or refresh the twitch tv chat page. Then OBS simply crashes.

Everytime I do anything else than play the game OBS crashes.

I got 4 crashes in 5 hours due to this new issue. And OBS simply stopped to pick up the microphone 3 times... (see this topic about that specific issue: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3439&p=19527#p19469)

I just really wanted to point out something is wrong somewhere since 0.50

PS : Was using OBS 32 and 64 bit during the stream and got issues with both. I'm on windows7.

Cheers

Could you post it directly to the forum instead of using mediafire, if at all possible? We would vastly prefer not to have to deal with mediafire.

Mic error is because of this: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3439&start=10 -- solutions are included. Mic QPC timestamps are to blame. It's supposed to be off by default actually, but if you need to use it, increase your scene buffering time to at least 700+, otherwise keep it disabled (though it's sometimes necessary for certain devices/sound cards).

As for the crashes, there is some known stability issues with those type of laptops and the latest nvidia drivers right now, I'm getting reports of it happening more than I'd like, very annoying actually.

Okay, I thought QPC timestamps were nice in order to prevent desynch between webcam and microphone, but if it may be the cause of my issue I'd better turn it off.

Thanks again, Jim !
