Version .43a is giving me crackling sounds in my headset. Seem to only have the problem when streaming.

are you referring to the stream output, or sound you personally are getting?

I Have Had The Same Issue When I Stream With OBS, I Don't Hear Static But It Comes Through The Stream. It Doesn't Have The Static High Pitch Whine On xSplit. Other Than This I Love OBS And It Out Preforms xSplit In My Opinion.

Here Is A Video Where You Can Hear The Static: http://www.twitch.tv/asheon/b/337727812 Scroll To About 7-8 Minutes In Most Of That Video Is Me Trying To Fix It Then Realizing It Was Just OBS. I've Changed Everything On My End And Even Fiddled With Audio And Encoding Settings In OBS But I Was Only Able To Slightly Lower The Sound. I Did Figure Out Using OBS' Mic Boost Over 1 Does Increase The Static Whine Sound.

Also I Didn't Have This Problem Before 0.43a And I Have Yet To Try 0.432 alpha. Think I'll Test That Now. :)

Loving OBS Please Help,
Asheon

try the resampling option in advanced and let me know if it makes a difference

I Tried The Re-sampling Option Just Now And It Didn't Change Anything. :( I've Also Tried AAC And MP3 Codecs And Neither Of Those Made A Difference. If I Mute My Mic In OBS It Stops.

and you're saying this does not happen pre-4.3? because the only audio code I changed is controlled by that option. If you use it, it basically becomes exactly as it was pre-4.3. I didn't change anything else

Yes I Went Back And Checked Video From Before .43a And It Didn't Have That Buzzing Whine To It. I Haven't Changed Anything On My End Either. It Doesn't Have The Buzzing Whine When I Use xSplit Which Is What Made Me Think It Was OBS. It Also Doesn't Do That When I'm In A Skype Call Which Is Why I Don't Think It's My Headset As Well.

When I Said I Was Checking Video I Meant My Own From Before I Updated To .43 It Didn't Have The Buzzing Whine Before .43, I Started Using OBS On .42 So I Guess I'll Revert Back To That For Now.

No Problem, Just How I Type. Been Doing It For Over 12 Years Now Don't See A Reason To Stop. (Everyone Asks Lol)

pyrojoe - can you verify that this does not happen in 0.421a with the link to older versions I posted? because like I said, I didn't really change any of my audio stuff. it was like only one line for the resampler, but that only has to do with output, and you can change it back to the way it was with that option in advanced settings.

Okay So The Static Feedback I Was Getting Over Stream, Finally Fixed It By Lowering Mic Quality On My End. I Had It At 192000Hz And I Lowered It To 96000hz And It Stopped The Static, And That's On .432a :) So Glad It's Working Again.

Just tested it, yeah I get static in .43a I get static in my headset on .43a when I'm streaming or previewing the stream. The program being open no static, but once I start using it I get the static.

.421a is fine, no static at all, streaming or previewing.

Hey there, I kinda have the same problem: Nothing in my headset sound, but the stream gets a static. Goes through the versions .421, .432 till .448. All of them 64bit. The static will increase if I increase mic Audio Boost.

Thought that might be of any help, if you need additional data, just ask. :)
