I'm using SongParser to put the current playing song on spotify into a text file and i put that text file into a text source in OBS, but it does not update when a new song starts. Only way it will update the text is if i click on properties for that text source and press okay.
You can use Notepad to check this. Simply open the file, go to 'File > Save as' and check what's selected in the encoding dropdown menu. If it'll be UTF-8 then your file is UTF-8, either it's not. After that simply cancel the saving.
