Alright so here's the problem, I recently set up OBS and my sound settings are:
Desktop Audio Device: Default
Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device: Microphone (Logitech G930 Headset)
Use Push-to-talk: [] None None
Push-to-talk Delay (milliseconds): 200
Mute/unmute Mic Hotkey: None
Mute/unmute desktop hotkey: none
Force Microphone/Auxiliary to mono: []
Desktop Boost (Multiple): 1
Mic/Aux Boost (Multiple): 1
Mic Time Offset (milliseconds): 0
And when I preview myself I get no echo, everything is happy. Although, when I stream I get an echo! I am not watching my own stream, though if I mute OBS (the producer of the echo) I don't get any sound on stream. So it seems as if OBS is receiving my audio then playing it again as a preview.
Some extra info: I do use a wireless headset, the Logitech G930 is a USB based headset. When I used to use xSplit I had no such problems as well. Thanks for reading everyone!
