Probably a newbie problem, but despite following the guide on this whenever I try and capture a Blackboard Collaborate recording (in 1 window) , OBS also captures other windows if I do some background surfing ie. if I navigate to another window with my mouse it captures that too. I assumed it would only record the window selected in Sources.

Can anyone help? I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise

I Enabled Aero and it didn't work, ill put more time into it later. for know i may have found away around this issue for the moment Grab the window and place it at the very bottom of the screen literally so only windows header is showing (the Minimize, Full screen, And close window bar at the top of the window). I ran into the same thing. The issue is when you click on one of the other windows it places the new window over the one that obs is capturing. Almost like its in desktop mode i dont know why it wants to do that. Do your edits then move the captured window out of frame. Hope this helps.
