Question / Help Video laggy

Hello
Im trying to record with OBS Studio, great part of the video is smooth, but in some random minutes, it get laggy as I show you on this video , and then, it became smooth and fluid again

I tried using simple output mode, indistinguishable recording quality for testing purposes and still the same issue, the same with VBR or CQP recordings, with multiple bitrate options. FPS are capped and vsync is on in all the games.

Also, I tried recording with Elgato HD60 Pro Software (same PC, just for testing purposes again) and everything is smooth, fluid and 0 lag,

Try using CQP 15 instead of CBR 60,000kbit

Also try using X264, CRF 15, ultrafast preset.

Why specifically are you using display capture?

I get the same thing when streaming and I use game capture. I had this issue for a while too and still have not found a solution.

Just testing, as kzpl23 said, the problem still happens when using game capture

Same damn problem! Can't we get some tech support from the OBS staff :)
