Hi. Today I was trying to record a quick video showing a video on Youtube.
So I set up a WINDOW capture to show my Chrome window to play that video.
If I record it like that, it looks extremely choppy. And there is no settings I can change to make it smoother.
BUT… if I then change to a Display Capture to show the whole screen and play the exact same video at the exact same tab and browser, then it's smooth as silk.
Not sure why that happens.
Here's a log file from that last recording: https://obsproject.com/logs/PVAlSEcIxgZUHEmC
I've noticed these lines there:
Could that be it?
I'm on a Mac Pro 2017 15-inches, 2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB
I'm glad I found a workaround, but I'd still prefer using it as a Window Capture because I can then move around stuff knowing that what's being recorded it's only what's on my browser (or whatever window I set to).
Hopefully this is not a duplicate from another thread. I've tried finding it, but didn't find anything. But sorry if I missed it.
Thanks!
