Hello,

I am really happy with my stream but CS:GO is causing some weired problem. Whenever i stream it every few seconds the game lags, but not the normal kind of lag, like a weired one. Cant really explain it but it has to do with running two monitors, because it does not happen when i turn my second monitor off. I have no problems with any other games and my hardware + internet is good enough to stream. i saw another thread talking about this topic but no real solution so i wanna give it another shot.

My PC:

Mainboard: Asus Z170-A
CPU: Intel I7 6700k (4,0 GHz)
GPU: Nvidea GTX 980 Ti
RAM: HyperX FURY 16GB 2133MHz DDR4
Storage: Samsung EVO 850 SSD 250GB + 1000GB HDD
Power Supply: Be quiet! Pure Power CM BQT L8-CM-630W
Tower: Cooltek Antiphoon (Black)
Monitor: Benq XL2411Z (144 Hz) and LG W2261 (60 Hz)

send help Q_Q

I'm having the same problem. When I play CSGO it will feel weird and stutter happens. I noticed my fps will drop from 300 to 60/80 for like not even a second then go back up again. I've been trying everything; from obs settings, to reformatting pc, changing settings in csgo, to making sure I'm the only one using the internet in my house. I have the fastest internet with Virgin.

Running a game without vertical sync or a frame rate limiter will frequently cause performance issues with OBS because your GPU will be maxed out. Enable vsync or set a reasonable frame rate limit that your GPU can handle without hitting 100% usage. If that's not enough you may also need to turn down some of the video quality options in the game.

Edit: Also if you're still using OBS Classic it's having performance issues due to a recent Windows update. OBS Studio has already been fixed, OBS Classic's fix should be coming...eventually. You can uninstall KB3172985 (the Windows update that's causing this problem) until an updated version of OBS Classic comes out, but this isn't really recommended since it's mostly a security update for the OS. You can also just switch to OBS Studio.

since i am a competitive gamer enabling vsync is not an option and limiting fps doesnt help because i tried that in the past. As i said every other game is fine, only CS:GO causing this weired lag/stutter. I guess i can give OBS Studio another try but i have done that 2-3 month back and it wasnt different. Thanks for the advice and quick help though =)
