Bug Report Screen flickering when streaming borderless

Hi.
I just got my new laptop and want to keep streaming league of legends. I have to play in "borderless" mode to stream the game. When I play without having OBS in the background, everything is ok. But when I turn OBS on and try to stream, my screen sometimes flickers and shows my desktop background. It's like I "jump" out of the game for a second. This happens randomly. I only see my desktopbackground, not the taskbar and icons on my desktop.

Is anyone familiar with this issue?

http://www.twitch.tv/jedim4ztr/b/446812785 This is how it looks on my stream (at about 20 sec)

Sry for my poor english -_-

I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 770M video card.
My laptop is a brand new MSI GT70.

EDIT: There was a serious hardware error with that computer. I have now bought a new one and everything is working perfectly (yay). If an administrator ever looks at this thread, he may close it.

Sorry about that. My bad, I hadn't read the guidelines of how to post on this forum. I noticed there was a patch out now for OBS. So I updated my client and tried to stream a few minutes ago. The bug is still there. It has somewhat changed though, now it seems like the game is being minimized for a split second. I no longer see my desktop background, I see a black background (my desktop background is red) and I see the OBS client. I don't think I see the taskbar.

Anyway, if anyone is able to help me I'd be forever greatful. Here's the log.

Update:
Another update was released for OBS today. Now the problem has changed once again. I get this errormessage:
Texture->Map failed: 0x887a0005 0x887a0006
Your video card or driver froze and was reset. Please check for possible hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings.
After this OBS shuts down automatically. I have reinstalled my gfx driver two times already. I attached the log for my last streaming session.

In the taskbar, a small bubble pops up which says:
Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8(R) stopped respoding and has successfully recovered.

Quite weird that my Intel gfx card driver crashes, that card is supposed to be disabled. I have forced my PC to use my Geforce card by default through nvidia control panel.

I found this url: http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6472 and have tried to: Update windows. Update directx. Update gfx drivers. Delete and reinstall drivers for gfx card. Reset OBS (delete the appdata folder). '

Tried to disable the preview like mention in the forum post. Screen still flickering. I have no idea of what Opencl is, so if anyone could tell me how to disable it that would be great (idk if it is enabled).

I see you're using monitor capture -- you might want to try out window/game capture if possible instead of monitor capture first, though I honestly don't know if I have an actual answer at this point

I am having the same issue - same error. I don't have a log file at as I cleared all of OBS and installed it again - I have even tried BETA OBS and BETA Nvidia drivers.

I'm sorry Jim, but I am going to copy/paste this - It's a post I made on xsplit (please help me fix as I would rather use OBS. Both programs have issues it seems so I don't know.. but I don't know what I did, but I no longer get that popup error - now OBS just crashes or stream goes black (like my vid card drivers crashed again n its trying to refresh))

Ok, I have a odd one - I don't know if this is something that can be fixed as I'm wondering if it's a nvidia issue.

1. http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT70-2OC.html#overview that's my laptop I'm trying to stream from.
2. I am using a Elgato.
3. I have all the latest drivers for everything on my laptop - even tried beta video card drivers.
4. I have tried both OBS and XSPLIT.
5. I am streaming 720p (OBS 2500 bitrate) (xsplit - free version at 720p)
6. I have a 50mb down - 5mb up cable connection - stream looks perfect

What 1st started to happen when I streamed using OBS I got a error related to "texture -> map failed" and my video card drivers would crash causing it to go black until windows recovered from it. I tried xsplit and I did not get the same error message, but after some time of streaming the xsplit/elgato screen would go black on the laptop. If I clicked on the stream it would look like it refreshes the video drivers.

I can stream just fine through elgato - I streamed for a bunch of games last night. I opened task manager and checked and my CPU is not spiked at 100%. I'm pretty much at a loss right now. The laptop does not run hot, I have a cooling pad and it was running cool all last night. I don't know if just elgato and xsplit just overloaded the GPU or what. I don't see how that could be a issue. it's a decent card GTX 770M

Any Ideas?

I tried to get OBS to crash - I played two games when the video blacked out. OBS never crashed, but it never recovered the window just showed a black screen. I run it in Monitor Capture. For some reason I can't do Game/Window capture with elgato - just shows black screen. I only have one more test, and that's to capture straight to the device, but I don't want to do that because I record my games through the elgato program.

I didn't open elgato software - I configured OBS to use Video capture device - and it played 2-3 games just fine. So it must be a issue with both programs running. I don't know if its sharing dll's and crashing. I wouldnt think it would overload such a new card. when I have both open and streaming its not taxing my system.

Just a update - I was finally able to update Firmware on Elgato and I played 3 games while recording and no crash. Will keep updated

Yea, you have to keep that elgato firmware updated. It's actually fairly vital because they made some significant changes.

i thought I had it fixed, but its random crashing now. I can stream with just OBS using video capture device. I can stream with just elgato but i want to try and use both n that seems a issue. sometimes it will play for a while perfect. im at a total loss n about to give up

Did OBS crash? If OBS crashed, then you need to include the crash log and preferably the minidump file too so I can debug it if possible.
