Question / Help Saving file as the date

So I noticed that if I dont change the filename before each recording , I lose my old one.
Is there a way for me to save my recordings as the date using ffmpeg ( the custom output option) for the plugin?

Try setting a file path without a file name, OBS-MP should generate file names based on the date/time.

If i save it as no filename it saves as a hidden file labelled ".m4v" , if i take the file extension away OBS does not record at all.

this doesn't work for me either. is there a fix for this? I've tried env variables and they don't seem to work either.

If you're using FFmpeg recording output, a fix for that will probably be next patch (0.11.0).
