Question / Help Recording stopping at 30 seconds

I am new to OBS Studio. My first recording attempt went well but further recordings seem to be stopping at around 30 seconds, even though I have not interacted with system in any way.

My last log file has been uploaded to https://obsproject.com/logs/l8gsAtKDEoDvnNaQ.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off your output timer in the tools menu.

Thanks for your reply. After posting, I did discover the stop recording timer had been set to 30 seconds. However, I don't believe I set it, but hey, stranger things have happened. I also discovered there are less difficulties when the output format is set to MKV. I would be interested to get further information on not using MP4 for recording. Just a link would be great.

MP4 is extremely unreliable as a recording format. ANYTHING that interrupts the recording process in such a way as to prevent the recording from finalizing renders the entire recording useless.

And a lot of editing software has problems reading MP4s made with OBS when saving direct.
