Question / Help Recording Sega Genesis Footage

I bought a capture card from Amazon (TOTMC USB 2.0 Video Capture Adapter, which is probably an EZCap knock-off). Since I had heard the software that came with the card wasn't very good, I thought I would use OBS Studio for video capture (since I'm semi-familiar with OBS, but I'm no expert).

I tried to capture from my Sega Genesis, and I was able to successfully capture audio, but not video. I tried playing around with the NTSC/PAL settings (it's an American system, but I thought I would try the PAL settings to see if they work). I did a quick test on my PS2 to make sure it wasn't the card, but the PS2 seems to capture just fine.

My guess is that there's a resolution issue. Does anyone have any advice on this? Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

Note: My Genesis is connected to an AV Switch. My AV Switch is directly connected to the capture card.
