Bug Report problem detecting game War Thunder

hello knew to this program love it but, im not having issues detecting war thunder. first 2 days it detected it fine now it woun't show up. I didn't realize at the time u could make a global setting for it like I said im new to this program. just wondering if there's a easy way for you to detect it. when it does come up it odd name like [aces war thunder]. please help thanks. also it ALWAYS detects the load up screen settings before u actually boot war thunder but after that of course nothing.

Are you using Game Capture or Window Capture?

game capture, so game capture detects the load up screen where u change options but not the actually game.

I seem to remember people having trouble with game capture because of with War Thunder's anti-hacking software. Have you tried the latest test version of OBS?

You will likely have to use Window Capture for this game

Maybe it was intentional to block OBS?? Not saying that it is, but seems like a weird coincidence. /tinfoilhatmodeon

It's more likely that they updated their anti cheat stuff.

yeah there ingame stream program to twitch is horrific. u can set resolution and quality of stream but it doesn't change anything on twitch side. its a huge bandwith hog with no options to change fps in stream and how much mb are allocated to stream. its all around bugged and lousy, not worth even turning on in game ;)

I tested war thunder recently and it was working. You have to run OBS as administrator to capture these sort of games in these cases. Also UAC may or may not be interfering -- I'm not entirely sure
