I'm new OBS. I am trying to render and stream an analog video feed from a CCD astronomy camera to nightskiesnetwork.com. I understand that this is not a standard streaming service used with obs. When streaming on night skies network, it requests access to flash player and it gives me an fms url: rtmp://204.62.15.184/videowhisper and a stream name: Mt. Stony Brook Observatory. When I input this information into the Broadcast Settings window and start streaming, I receive the error:
Could not access the specified channel or stream key. This could be because key/channel is invalid, or because the server still thinks you are not logged in.
rtmp://204.62.15.184/videowhisper
Netstream.Failed (The stream name may not be empty.)
Do I have to parse that url or input it as-is? If theres any more documentation needed please let me know. Thank you for your help in advanced.
