Noob question, but obs seems to not pickup window when it is minimized. For example if I have chatbox widget mimimized from TwitchAlerts, it wont refresh automatically. I have to have it not minimized for OBS to pick up the live feed. Is there a way to fix this or is this how it suppose to be?

That's how it works at the OS level. If a window is minimized, Windows stops updating/drawing it. Don't minimize windows you're using. You can move them mostly-offscreen though, or put other windows on top of them (with Aero on, if you're on Win7).
If you want to use TwitchAlerts, just install the CLR Browser plugin, and grab the alertbox/chatbox directly instead of having a browser window open at all.
Also, set the CLR source Global to prevent having the chatbox/alertbox reset when you change scenes.
