Question / Help OBS keeps minimizing to the system tray and I can't access it

Okay, so this is becoming quite frustrating, but I have already attempted the following to get the issue resolved:

• Killed the process,
• Ended the process and reopened OBS,
• Right-clicked the icon and displays no options,
• Purged and installed OBS through the terminal interface and entirely removed the package in Synaptic Package Manager, including the associated configuration files and re-installed it.

Whatever I try, the program keeps closing and minimizing itself to the system tray and I am completely unable to access the program at all. I am running Ubuntu Budgie 17.10, drivers are working correctly and it's quite a recent install only being a few days old.

If anyone could assist me on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
