Hello
I do have the same problem.
VU-Meters show there is sound getting processed.
Streaming works, recording works, so sound gets mixed down and is produced by OSB.
But why on earth can't I hear anything from my PC speakers (which I want to use as a monitor speaker).
I am sure all is setup correctly, as streaming/recording workes fine (except on windows, sometimes some of the sound sources where missing, but after restart of OBS it worked again.
My big question:
Does OBS just not playback the mixdown audio what is shown in the VU-meters or recorded. Is that on purpose?? If so, I really wonder how people can work with OBS when you cant hear a bit while you are recording/streaming something...
I can hear the system sounds or from other progs like VLC etc.
I dont want to record games, only media files and USB camera.
Tried it with Win10 and Ubuntu: Same result
In both test cases it was the same system, a Intel Celeron N3150 in an Zotac Mini
(The only one I have supporting OpenGL above 3.2.)
I assume that NCCNatan has different hardware, but the same problem.
Maybe its a problem with certain hardware or audio drivers
Or is there some hidden switch that mutes the playback through speakers connected to the PC?
Thanks!
