i have a 2024 macbook pro.
i only see a single bar when capturing my stereo audio from a sony hi8 camcorder.
when i pull the red cable from the camcorder i hear the audio from the white and vice versa.
mono is unchecked as well.
audio downgrade box is checked….if i uncheck it gives an option of left front….
do i have a defective capture device? thanks for any help…in the end these videos are all from the 80s so it isn’t a big deal, but to have noticeable stereo would be nice…
