I've never experienced any issues with this plugin & I've used x264, QSV & NVENC encoders with it. Are you sure you have the correct version of the plugin installed? Kind of tricky these days with all the updates/changes.

J,

I highly doubt you would be able to see much if any difference between using Very Fast/Medium presets. Anyway, do some streaming with the plugin & look at the OBS log for the session, some of the settings used may be in there. I would do it myself but I'm currently using QSV with the plugin & those settings are default.

I did a lot of testing in x.264 and h.264 in OBS, x.264 quality started to look very good at medium presets. H.264 in OBS directly was nearly unusable. But with the rtmp plugin, even this is fine.

Theres really some magic happening in the plugin.

By the way, the plugin doesnt work with prism live. They added support for obs plugins with the latest version v4.0.0.

But this one doesnt work.

Update:

Prism Live released version 4.0.2 and with the new multi rtmp version v0.4.0 (pre-release), the plugin still doesn't work.
I think in general plugins, which are added via filters have better chances to be functional.

I'll add a picture of the error message, which is shown at the program start. Maybe it'll help to make it work. I don't know...

Hi All,

Anybody have issues with OBS 29.1.3 and m1 mac? I downloaded the arm and the universal installer, neither working for me. The installer worked fine, but the plugin not in the OBS, not even in "dock" menu.

having an issue with the dock not showing, reset ui, reset docks, removed plugin, reinstalled plugin, even removed obs, reinstalled obs, reinstalled plugin...plugin is there and working as I can see a stream running that is only configured in the plugin...just can't get to the dock and hence can't modify config for rumble...ol' rumble...

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS 3
OBS 29.1.3 installed via flatpak this time around (snap installation yields same results)

How in the blue HE double hockey sticks do I get the dock back? Where is the config so I can check that?

after many installs/uninstalls of obs and the multi-rtmp plugin, through various means/methods, finding this message from sorayuki on github:

"The dock window may hide somewhere. You may try edit the obs's configuration file global.ini and delete the line geometry= in [BasicWindow] section, then launch OBS to see if the dock window appears.
Notice that you will lose the docks' layout." ~ https://github.com/sorayuki/obs-multi-rtmp/issues/325

no joy

After the last flatpak install and plugin install, reboot, obs came up, tried to import profile, nothing, closed out obs, thought it was closed but then got a message that obs crashed, it opened back up on it's own and...wut....there is the multi output dock panel.....

not a solution but there ya go, seems to be working fine now....

Having an issue where the stream output is not 1080p even when selected? Im on OBS 29.0.2 (not the latest because i was worried the plugin would stop working). I tried both the Get OBS option and put the resolution myself in the Modify settings and getting the same result. Anyone know how to fix this?

The resolution is written as like "1920x1080". It's the letter "x" in the middle.

The latest version is built with OBS 29.1.3.

v0.5.0.1 is working A-OK, no issues typing in the resolution either. But, it appears to be the source of some memory leaks that weren't included with previous Windows 64-bit releases

1:26:12.010: Number of memory leaks: 9

Hi, can I have some explanation please.
If I stream to Twitch and Youtube I will be spending twice more bandwidth and speed. If I add Facebook to it then three times bandwidth and speed. Correct?
tnx

If you are using the same bitrate, yes, that is correct. If you use different bitrates to each platform, then no, you'd have to add those together and see what it comes out to. For example, I stream at 7,000 Kbps to Twitch and 20,000 Kbps to Youtube, so I need roughly 4x my normal Twitch bandwidth to stream to both (before accounting for overhead).
