Hi,

There is an issue in Linux OBS 22.0.2 where using any encoder NVNEC or h.264 fails, the error is immediately presented as you hit start stream. I have attached the error screenshot of the error and here are the logs.

If I alter the stream type to Mixer - RTMP the stream works with no issues, recording is unaffected.

OS: Solus x86_64
Kernel: 4.18.9-92.current
DE: Budgie
CPU: Intel i5-4440 (4) @ 3.300GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (drivers are Nvidia proprietary 390.87)
Memory: 16gb

Kind Regards,
MrTogatsu

The only official builds for linux of OBS are the ones for Ubuntu.
Any other variants of linux cannot guarantee FTL support being compiled in unless you enable it properly during your own build.

I see. I'll try compiling it myself then and see if that works.
I've compiled it from git with FTL support. Now I can stream to FTL servers succesfully but only with software encoding. Still getting the same error with nvenc. My card supports nvenc. My drivers are up to date. I can stream to RTMP with nvenc.
