Question / Help Mic randomly cuts out or turns off while streaming

I established that my microphone is still fully functioning and that OBS may be the one causing this problem. Whenever I would start a stream, my microphone would be working perfectly fine until 2-5 minutes later... the mic just cuts out and on the other end (viewers) they would hear a very loud screeching noise (very annoying). I tried turning off audio enhancements, but that didn't do anything.
