Question / Help Issue with resolution - doesn't fill Twitch stream window

Hi all.

On my Mac, OBS doesn't let me use the whole screen when setting up scenes, just grey bars either side and then they are black bars on Twitch when I'm streaming. Other streams I've seen don't do this. I've tried playing around with some settings, to no avail.

Your output resolution's aspect ratio does not match the twitch player aspect ratio, which is 16:9. Width to height ratio is different than the twitch player. The aspect ratio (the width/height ratio) of your display's resolution simply does not match the twitch player width/height ratio. You can set your scaled resolution to whatever you want, so just set it to a 16:9 aspect ratio if that's what you really want to do. Just know that you'll stretch your stream doing that.
