Is MP3 still unreliable in OBS media sources?

Hi,

I noticed OBS sometimes loses audio from MP3 media sources after switching scenes multiple times. The mixer still shows activity, but no sound is heard.

Converting the same files to WAV seems to fix it.

Is this a known limitation/bug with MP3 decoding in OBS, or am I missing some setting?
