Question / Help iOS Lightning Cable capture (Yosemite)

As Yosemite allows direct capture of an iOS device's output via Lightning cable, this makes streaming from iOS potentially really straightforward, requiring no additional hardware (more info at http://www.idownloadblog.com/2014/06/03/yosemite-ios-8-screenscasting/ )

I wondered if this was something that OBS might be planning to add capture support for?

I thought the Yosemite/iOS 8 capture had a bit of lag? Maybe less than a second, but pretty major. You could try to just use syphon on the mobile display window or window capture. My iPad has 30-pin, so I'm not able to record with it sadly.

Hello.

Try open QuickTime Player.
Go to File -> Record new movie
Choose a source of audio and video (arrow on right side red record button)
Choose in OBS source as QuickTime Player window
