Question / Help High pitched feedback/static and fluctuating sound levels when streaming with Macbook Pro 15" Retina

Hi all,

I have a Macbook Pro 15" Retina that I'm trying to stream with on Twitch. However, when I use another computer to see how everything sounds, I hear a lot of static and high pitched noise (feedback?).

The desktop sound level also fluctuates for some reason (using soundflower). At times it'll be a nice quiet volume then suddenly get really loud.

If anyone could help, that would be fantastic. I'm happy to clarify any questions. Thanks!

Also, you can turn on archiving on your twitch stream and then just link to an archived video -- that might be easier.

Use syphon sound. http://staticz.com/soundsiphon/

works alot better then sound flower. I use it all the time and dont get the issues you are having. (had that issue with sound-flower on some games.)
