Hey there, so I have something that I have been fighting for 6 months and I can't seem to get to the bottom of it. For as long as I can remember, years even, I've been streaming at

8000kbps
some very mild x264 options
Ryzen 1700x / nVidia GTX 1660ti / 16gb Ram / Pci-e SSD for OS / Sata SSD for Recording
On the good days, my OBS CPU usage would set around 30%, totally normal. I use x264 for streaming, nvenc for recording. However, on random days, my OBS CPU usage would spike to 70-90%, maxing out my CPU completely. I dealt with this for so long until I eventually reformatted my PC and built OBS from scratch. Problem went away. Until last week.
Here is the kicker. This only happens when I'm in Advanced Output mode. If I switch to simple, and keep the same recording settings for x264 and nvenc, my OBS cpu usage stays around 30%, as it should.

It's so weird because this happens randomly, and I have no idea how to fix it. I rely on a lot of the advanced output settings so it sucks using the simple mode. Any help greatly appreciated.
