Question / Help Help with video quality!

I need help making my video capture in HD when i record the video looks like its 480p quality. How can i make my recording be HD? I cannot find anywhere in the setting to make it look better. I have a MacBook Pro 15" with Retina Display, Mid - 2014, i7 - 2.5GHz processor, with Dual Graphics.
