HELP using game capture as source on OBS

Okay so when i first got my elgato HD 60 i downloaded the elgato software and then the OBS software.... when i first opened OBS and i added a scene and then i clicked on add source and my elgato HD (game capture) appeared as a source... i was so happy... but ever since i closed OBS and reopened it now my elgato never appears in my sources? any reason why or what I can do to make it appear as source again? I am using a macbook pro OS X el captain 10.11.3....PLEASE help!!!!

close the elgato software then restart OBS. capture cards can only be captured once at a time.
