OBS recognizes it for Game Capture, but all I get is a black screen. When I monitor capture, I get video, however, the game appears as a box in its resolution in the top left of my screen, and you can still see the rest of my desktop.
Game capture only supports DirectX 9 and higher games, and unfortunately Silent Hill 2 is too old. You can try playing the game in Windowed mode and capturing with Window capture, or maybe use DxTory.
