Having Issues Previewing GoPro Hero9 feed from ATEM Mini

Hey Gang,
I'm having issues viewing my GoPro Hero9 in OBS. I'm sending it through an ATEM Mini. I'm not using the HDMI out into my iMac, because I don't have a cable that is HDMI out to either USB or USB-C in ... (I'm on an older iMac with Monterey) ... but I'm using the webcam out of the ATEM. I can preview the color bars, so I feel confident that signal is coming from the ATEM into OBS as a video capture device.

99% sure this is a GoPro issue, but thought I'd ask here ...
I've got a quick video I made for "TJ", a local video producer who helped me with purchasing some gear, but haven't gotten any help, so posted it as a private link on YouTube here:

SOLVED:

You'll never guess. So who would've known (not me) that some HDMI cables (ie. all of mine that I bought and kept trying) require you to plug the CORRECT END of the HDMI cable into the mixer vs the camera. Since both ends look identical - and the ports are identical, I was not aware that one end had a "To Source" icon on it, and the other end had a "To Display" icon on it.

My local video guy finally called me back - to his credit, he's been really sick and in bed. He said the cables I bought are long, and have fiber optic conversion happening at both ends, so you have to use the correct end.

Literally unplugged and reversed which end of the cable I was using, and it worked.

I spent almost a week troubleshooting this and almost packed the whole pack full of gear up and shipped it back over plugging in the wrong end of the cable.

I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS A "CORRECT" END OF A HDMI CABLE
