Hey forum.

Whenever i use game capture to stream my game, it lags horribly.

i mean, its not only on the actual stream, but also in the OBS window, which i think always should be running smoothly(even in preview)

Here is my specs:

I7-3770 3,4GHz
GTX 570
8GB ram

1mbit upload. i know its not much, but still, i dont believe my low upload has anything to do with this kind of lag. because i can take the game in window mode and stream it perfect.

Thx for help :)

I dont know of it matters a lot, but i only had the stream turned on for 1min pr so. Im on my way to work right nok. So i was in a hurry. I think i noticed something weird. My game was set to window mode then i put game capture on and it ran smoothly as if it was fullscreen but then i will just have to play in window.

Your bitrate and buffer should match (or a larger buffer); buffer smaller than the bitrate can/will cause problems.

You're also trying to run 720p@30fps with a quality of 10, on 700kbps. 'Not gonna happen' is the first phrase that comes to mind. It's going to look terrible, and likely appear to lag on the stream. You'd be better served at 480p or 320p at those rates, or dropping to around 10fps and lowering your quality. If you mean in-game lag (high ping, rubber-banding, teleporting) that is very likely to be a network throughput-related problem as well.

Run the 6MB test at http://testmy.net/upload when you get home, on your streaming connection. It'll give you an accurate idea of roughly what you have to work with.

I understand what you Are saying. But right now im not talking quality. Because it also stuttering big time in the obs program. Which i belive shouldnt have anything to do with my upload?
